Experienced a spurt of bridge construction, bridges maintenance tasks have increased.The bridge evaluation method of maintenance code that based on exterior inspection can notfound the structural internal damage.Established a bridge structure health monitoring systemcan timely detect the disease and take the appropriate repair and maintenance measures.Thebridges installed the monitoring system mostly is large bridges and mostly dynamicmonitoring system.That invest largerly. A static system is much lower than the dynamic onein cost and operating costs. That can take advantage of a large number of sensors installedduring the construction monitoring,further reducing the cost. That achieve the unity of theeconomy and assessment reliability.After analyzed the monitoring and evaluation theory of bridge structure,use synthesizedassessment as the static assessment method. Established the Assessment hierarchicalmodel.That integrated the data of stress measurement, linear measurement and exteriorinspection into an assessment model.Combined with the principle of variable weights to solvethe unbalanced nature of the assessment.In the process of determining the weight of layers ofelements, Proposed a approach to damage sensitivity to determine the weight of staticmonitoring parameter section. By Filling judgment matrix forms can determined the weightwhen the elements’ importance can not be quantified.Using strength reserve method todetermine the weight of the sensors in the same section.In the process of quantifing theunderlying index date, quantified the single date by using the dimensionless model. For theresults of exterior inspection, quantified by using those formulas of Technical Code ofMaintenance for City Bridge and unified formulas by the principle of “each-span”,“each-component”,“each-disease”. Redefined the connotation of span and component. Byadded and deleted the damage disease of the components on the basis of the standardcomponent evaluation marking table, drafted the marking table to calculate the score.Apply above method assessed a through arch bridge. Established a monitoring systemwith the existing sensors. Determine the hierarchical model by analyzed the structural system.The model applies to half-through and through arch bridge.The real bridge application shows that the proposed method can successfully achieve the static monitoring and evaluation of thebridge structure.
