About90%of the existed express way pavement is asphalt pavement in China. RAPresulting from road’s repair and maintenance is increasing year by year, and the quantity ofRAP is amazing. Traditional dumping treatment is not only a waste of resources, but alsomay pollute the environment. Asphalt pavement recycling technology uses special methodsto make waste material recycled, and turn waste into treasure. It is an effective method tosolve the problem of RAP disposal, according to our strategic policy to establish a“resource-conserving, environment-friendly" social. Hot mix plant recycling technology ismost mature and widely used. This paper researched on hot mix plant recycling technologyfrom mixture performance, equipment technology and construction techniques.In terms of mixture performance, this paper analyzed the RAP properties, determinedthe recycled methods and content of new asphalt, studied on change law of recycling asphaltmixture performance at different proportion of RAP, and then taken into account economicfactors to determine the optimal proportion of RAP in Shaanxi province. After that, thispaper analyzed the effects of different design factors on the correlation degree with roadperformance using gray theory, and provided a reference design for recycling mixture;In terms of technology improvements, this paper compared the advantages anddisadvantages of various hot mix plants recycling equipment, researched on the technicalreasons and proposed improvement programs with drying tube wall sticking lining, leafstructure distribution to solve the parallel-flow dryer drum recycled equipment operatingproblems, and then provided relevant performance evaluation index for the second dryingcylinder recycled equipment;In terms of construction techniques, this paper analyzed the various stages expoundingof construction technology of hot mix plant recycling mixture. It is suggested that we shouldfocus on strengthening pre-production control to reduce RAP variability. At last, this papersummarized and recommended the reasonable whole process of construction technique ofhot mix plant recycling. Combination theoretical analysis and laboratory test results, this paper relied on Xi-yuexpress way preventive maintenance engineering, paved hot mix plant recycling test road,tested road performance, analyzed economic and social benefits, accumulated experience forhot mix plant recycling. The results showed that the hot mix plant recycled asphalt pavementhas good performance, significant economic and social benefits and widely applicationprospects.
