| Electric power steering system (EPS) is a new power steering technology. This paperresearchs the influence of the control strategy and the parameters match on the EPSperformance and the control stability of the commercial vehicle.Based on the study of the power characteristics and the control strategy of EPS in detail,according to characteristics of commercial vehicles, the paper devises the power curve andthe control strategy of EPS for the commercial vehicle. The control strategy is made up withthree patterns, which are control pattern of assist torque, control pattern of aligning torqueand control pattern of damping torque. Then, creates the vehicle model of the commercialvehicle and simulation surrounding in accordance with international standards in theADAMS/Car. And completes the establishment of EPS model in Matlab/Simulink. In thispaper, co-simulation of ADAMS/Car and Matlab/Simulink is applied to achieving dynamicssimulation of commercial vehicle with EPS. Through the analysis of the controller of powergain coefficient, motors,power reduction ratio and torque sensor changes in parameters suchas lo and steering sensitivity effect. In ordor to improve the system stability, we optimized theparameters. |
