Buoyancy control system contains many seawater hydraulic components, such asseawater pumps, seawater solenoid valve, seawater relief valve, seawater balance valve and soon. As an important component of the buoyancy conditioning system, seawater solenoidshut-off valve functioning as transport hub controls the discharge and influxion of seawater. The principle of buoyancy regulation is to change the weight of carrying platform bydischarging and influxing seawater to water tank, under the adjustment of solenoid valve’son/off state, and then further adjust the position of bathyscaphes in the seawater. A seawatersolenoid reversing shut-off valve is developed in this paper. The main contents can be dividedas follows:Chapter I, Introduction. Briefly introduce the principle, purpose and meaning of theprogram, consult and sort out the research status quo at home and abroad, and raise keytechnical and difficult points based on the data summary and differences to normal solenoidvalves.Chapter II, The overall design. In the aims of functions and targets, the conditions ofspecial work conditions are analyzed in detail, solutions to the key technologies are proposed, key structural parameters are designed, and an integrated cartridge seawater solenoid shut-offvalves is designed which can exposed to the marine environment directly.Chapter III, Simulation and experiments of the solenoid. The design procedures andprocesses of the solenoid are introduced. Then combined with the parameters obtained fromthe design, simulation optimization the solenoid parameter values are obtained. The solenoidtest system is established and the performance experiments are completed.Chapter IV, Simulations and experiments of the valves. With professional softwares, theparameters are simulated and optimized, and then experiments are completed. The resultsshow the characteristics meet the demands and requirements of the buoyancy conditioningsystem are well satisfied.Chapter V, Summary and Outlook. Firstly, the work completed in this paper issummarized and the existing problems are analyzed. Then the contents of the follow-upstudies of the subject are envisaged.
