All the participants of the high-speed railway construction must recognize that todo a good and a fast job in the large scale and high-standard high-speed railconstruction is a huge challenge in the environment of intense competition in the emarket economy today. In order to better adapt to the development of the situationand change the old project management model, to better promote the constructionmanagement of high-speed railway construction, we need to find an innovativemanagement style. This management approach must be one which can meet thelarge-scale, complex projects characteristics, but also be feasible to promote andadvanced project management approach. Then, in this background, to applystandardized management to the construction industry will be a new direction.This thesis focuses on the standardization and large-scale high-speed rail projectconstruction organization to discuss, first, starting from the background of thehigh-speed railway construction in China, it raise the issue of apply standardizedmanagement to the construction industry; then it analyzes the theory related includingconstruction of the project organization and management and standardization, so itbecomes the research theoretical preparation; after this it analyzes the problems ofChina’s high-speed railway construction project organization and management by theliterature method, so it is the realistic basis of the study; and next it bases on thetheoretical and realistic basis, to build a framework of standardized which is in orderto guide the construction organization and management of large projects,so it is thecombination of standardization and construction of the project organization andmanagement; On the basis of this framework, we selected a case to study, and thismake the framework vivid, practical; finally, it conclude and get a conclusion, andlook ahead standardization in the organization and management of large projectconstruction.The method of this study: the first one is the theoretical analysis, the second oneis case analysis.The main conclusions of this study are the necessity and feasibility of theorganization and management of high-speed railway based on standardization on the project level. Standardization of management on the project level focuses onprocedures standardization.The main innovation of this study: the first one is the standardization ofmanagement used in the project level of construction enterprise, and this wouldprovide a boost in the level; the second one is to propose the organization,responsibilities, processes, which form the standardized management framework.As high-speed railway construction is more and more mature, and continuing todraw on the latest achievements of the same domestic industry and other industrystandardization, standardization in high-speed railway construction will be moreeffective, standardized management also enjoys popular support; China’s high-speedrailway construction will be stepping into a new stage.
