| Under the background that the research of city color is on the up, havingintegrated plenty of different subjects, such as Colorimetry, Urban design,Architecture as well as Database application etc., this paper brings up a method of citycolor select and match for planning and design of the city’s colorscape, based on thetheory of color contrast and congruity, and sets up the database of the architecturecolor by Microsoft Office Access and the software of color matching by visual C++,in order to realize the automation of the color select and matching, and make it to bethe assistant instrument for the professional people who deal with the urban design,Architecture and the researches of the popular color of the architecture,Through contrast of related theories and the domestic and internationalachievements, this paper brings up the mathematics model simplified, which beapplicable to planning and design of the city’s colorscape, from the summary of colorscontrast and congruity theories, and obtains the mathematics relationship betweenmain colors and General color, which was applied in the procedure that realized theautomation of Color selection and match. Besides, the building color case databasebuilt up can inspect the building case existing for Color Scheme, whose examplepicture expresses the intent of design exactly and despciption convey the caseinformation clearly. During the study, The topic adopted a lot of research method,such as cultural heritage, investigation on-the-spot, comparing analysis in actualproject etc.The study result constructs color database and its functions of color matchprogram and Case Retrieval procedure. It is more than100that total amount of thebuilding investigated on the spot within the two cities Peking and Tienjin to obtain thedata of the building color case. After analysis about a lot of first-hand informationacquired, it is verified rational and possible that526colours in《common buildingcolors》are used as the source of color database. Although the quantity of DataAcquisition is relatively limited this time, the case maintenance of softwarestrengthened expandability of the database.One of the innovations of this thesis lies in the simplification of mathematical model suitable for planning and design of the city’s colorscape during the comparinganalysis in actual project. Another one is the conversion of color matching principle,in color which is the basis of Visual aesthetics about the city’s colorscape, to theprogram which is the computer—aided design tool. |
