With the highway passengers transportation development fastly,the people pay moreattention on the vehicle running smoothness.At present,a lot of research about the smoothsimulation have been taken seriously in domestic. Therefore,it is very important to improvevehicle running smoothness by write a smooth analysis and evaluation software which canimproving the bus’ smooth.In this paper,the model of pavement and the five degree of freedoms dynamic model of abus was established on the basis of white noise method and the d’alembert’s principle and thetheoretical results are deduced in this section. Secondly,the soomth evaluation software waswrited by means of Matlab/GUI on the basis of GB/T4970-2009.All the evaluation index canbe calculated by the software.Thirdly,we write the bus smooth simulation software which candisplay the acceleration response curve and spectral density curve and calculate directly theweighted acceleration root-mean-square value and equivalent average above the seat in theposition of rear axle.Forthly,the bus has been made a road testing in the speed of50km/h and70km/h.The model of simulation is correct by contrast of the result of simulation andexperiment.At last, analyst the effect that seat parameters to the bus’s smooth in the theoryand study the effect on the bus smooth when changing the seat parameters.This paper aims at estimating and optimizing the effect of bus smooth by thetechnology of bus smooth simulation and bus smooth evaluation system befor the bus hasbeen designed.
