With the development of national economy and people’s life, people demand more from a vehicle as vehicle is not only a tool for travelling but also a new lifeway. Therefore, the vehicle industry has been developed rapidly in a short time by now and it has become an unchangeable trend to explore the new technology about smart car and automobile. However, the research on the ride comfort is ignored at some degree while the most efforts are focused on the safety and stability of vehicle. As the ride comfort has gradually become an important indicator for people to purchase a vehicle,it is of great significance to establish a scientific system to evaluate the ride comfort. In this paper, the ride comfort is divided into static comfort and dynamic comfort.A model with the temperature, humidity and acceleration of vehicle is established for the purpose of evaluating the comfort. Also the PMV model,FCM algorithm and wavelet analysis theory are used to evaluate these two types of ride comfort. The main work is as follows:1.The static comfort and dynamic comfort are proposed when considering the ridecomfort in vehicle, and the related factors are analyzed.Based on the physical quantities whichhave an impact on these types of ride comfort,a detector is also designed to detect thequantities.2.In order to evaluate the static dynamic comfort, the PMV model which is used inbuildings is referenced to quantify and calculate the thermal comfort in vehicle. As there aresome defects when this model is used in vehicle, the FCM algorithm is also used to solve thetrouble.3.In order to evaluate the dynamic comfort, the wavelet domain denoising is used toremove the noise of collected data, and the wavelet decomposition is used to handle the denoised data. Thus, the state of driving can be judged by the effective abnormal data collected by means of signal strangeness detect.
