So the well traffic facilities systems should be havingthe various functions, such as traffic management, safety protection, trafficinduction, isolation and seal off.By the analyses and inductions of the previous researches, the design methodsof expressway safety facilities have been expound, and the set-up methods、structures and materials of the safety facilities have been studied, it has solved theproblems as how to reduce the accident ratios, particularly the high dead ratios ofthe expressway by the safety facilities, such as traffic signs、markings、guardrail、fences、anti-glare facilities and delineators.
