With the rapid economic and social development, people’s travel characteristics showinga trend of diversity, the allocation of the regional road network traffic is also affected by manyfactors. Play a decisive role in a variety of traffic assignment models, traffic on the networksections of the road blocking the traffic distribution. Access road resistance, reflect the realityof the extent of direct impact on the distribution of rationality. In to do the distribution oftransport networks, road resistance to determine it is particularly important, as the combinedeffects of the travel decision-making factors.Resistance function at home and abroad, mainly in consideration of a single factor,impedance functions, such as the U.S. Federal Highway Administration BPR road resistancemodel only considered the impact of motor vehicle traffic load, the actual phenomenon is notvery consistent. Consider a variety of factors play a decisive role in the rationality of thetraffic assignment to build a reasonable impedance functions.The paper first describes the problem of traffic assignment, including the significance ofthe traffic assignment model. Traffic assignment models about the commonly used modelsand features. Then, the paper is to describe the common impedance functions. Paper on thebasis of traffic survey data, Zhejiang Province, socio-economic and transport are described.Zhejiang Province Highway traffic flow characteristics and vehicle characteristics of the tripswere analyzed. This laid the foundation behind the highway network modeling of theimpedance functions.Finally, in the existing research results, the OD survey of the road network in ZhejiangProvince, and many traffic assignment as well as the feasibility study and practice on the basisof analysis, to study various characteristics of the trips, consider the various effects of vehicletravel to select sections of the factors The proposed road network impedance functions, andon this basis to establish a mathematical model of the road transport network impedancefunctions, combined with the OD survey data for parameter fitting. The model is mainlyattributed to various factors to generalized costs used in traffic forecasting, and the resultswere analyzed and evaluated.
