At present, theoretical basis of optimum paths searching and traffic assignment has been relatively perfect, with the further development of the transportation planning theory and traffic flow theory, and with the research topics about traffic control and optimization are becoming more and more. While the concrete application of the theory is not that widely, subject to the high-quality requirements of real-time, the complex structure of the algorithms, the function confusion of relevant departments and the low function and penetration of clients. Because of the traffic flow is a dynamic random flow, in order to better serve the transportation planning and control, as well as to shorten the travel time and maintain the stability of the transport network, the model of traffic flow theory must be both immediate and accuracy. This article intervention study in the traffic impedance of urban road sections and intersections, and established a relatively detailed structure of impedance function. Then studied the characteristics of network traffic flow using the analysis method of network theory; and revealed the dynamic relationship between relevant factors. After that, this article applies analog circuit theory to the analysis of transport network, through comparative demonstration the similarity between the circuit system and the transport system, which based on the study on traffic flow characteristics of road network. The theory can be used in field of urban transportation network optimum paths searching and traffic assignment, and expects further developed in getting simplification algorithm, improving the characteristics of real-time and civilian achievable, in contrast to characteristics of intuitive, simple, easy to solve, etc...
