In recent years, along with the increment of the our country highway mileage and thedevelopment of the automobile industry, the vehicle transportation safety has already causedthe public’s more and more concerns.The highway curve, because of its complexity andspecialty, usually cause vehicles to exceed the speed limit to drive, so highway curve is adistrict where more traffic accidents take place.Therefore, this text do the special subjectresearch on vehicle speed precaution system set on highway curve.According cultural heritage index, I discovered that currently few scholar andorganization does the special subject research on vehicle speed precaution system set onhighway curve, either at home or abroad.This text mainly do first step of ex-expect onvehicle speed precaution system set on highway curve based on the Matlab image processingtechnology. To analyze the curved way radius, using sideslip and roll mathematics modelestablished on highway curve side, is the key factor that check and supervision safety speed.Ifwe want to make use of the image processing technology, taking advantage of the powerfulMatlab image processing technology, to compute the curved way radius, we must carry on afitting processing to the curved image at first.According to the knowledge of image pretreatment, I do such analysis processing asimage digitization, gray level transformation, eliminating noise, edge detection on acquisitioncurve image, and then give various result diagram that handle a method, compare and choosethe appropriate algorithm method, apply them to the partition and extraction of the drivewayline as well.After image pretreatment, the information character of curved way in the picturebecomes outstanding obviously.To the complications of that the way of measuring andcalculating the driveway line is complex and the workload of calculation is very big, througha thorough research on various calculations of parting curved way, I decide to adopt differentmethods to identify continuous curved way line and interrupted one. Making use of districtgrow method which accords to the partition theories, I withdraw a continuous curved way linefrom curve option, and get a excellent result.
