In the case of energy development becomes increasingly serious in today’s world,energy conservation has gradually become the consensus of the people around the world.This thesis did a research for a garden ornamental restaurant equipped with airconditioning in a tourist area in Nansha District, Guangzhou, and researchair-conditioning and building energy conservation technology used in it. The contentsinclude several aspects as follows:1. The building cooling load is2308kW through the load calculation withoutenergy-saving technical measures. Author simulated annual air-conditioning dynamiccooling load characteristics of the building by the DeST software and concluded thatcumulative time of load rate more than70%only accounted for10.39%of all theruntime of air-conditioning.2. Equipped with electric double-track double folding ceiling screens, the buildingcooling load is2308kW.In this case, the building cooling load is reduced by42.95%compared with the unused sunshade technology.3. Simulate environmental parameters in the large space building by thePHOENICS software. Simulation results show that the average temperature of the areaof personnel is25.56℃,and the average velocity is0.18m/s. At the same time, theaverage temperature of the flowers cultivating area is between23.76℃and24.47℃,and the average velocity is between0.17m/s and0.31m/s. Make the comparisonsimulation of different outlet velocity, outlet temperature, outlet height and outlet angle.The simulation results are summarized as follows: outlet air velocity primarily affect onthe velocity field, outlet air temperature has the greatest impact on the indoor ambienttemperature, outlet air height of the lower and more conducive to energy conservation,outlet air angle primarily affect on the airflow range.4. Programmable logic control technology was used for controllingair-conditioning system. Control method of number of units was used to control thewater-cooled unit air-conditionings. Cumulative number of hours of all the eighteen setsof water-cooled unit air-conditioning operated were sixty-six hours, that’s only1%ofthe total number of run-time, but nine and less than nine sets of water-cooled unitair-conditioning operated were72.69%. Frequency conversion control technology wasused to control cooling water pump, and its energy-saving rate up to24.37%compared with fixed-frequency control.This thesis did a research for an example project and explored applied research ofthe air-conditioning energy-saving technologies; the conclusions are available forair-conditioning energy-saving designs in the similar large space buildings. Althoughthe limitation and particularity of the research really exist, it has reference guide effecton research methods about Energy-saving effect in large space building with airconditioning.
