Research On Simulation Of Acoustics Environment And Noise Canceling Design Strategy Of The Residential District Along The Road In Hefei

There is an inseparable relation between city road traffic and noise.As china’s rapid economic development, the number of motor vehicles is increasing dramatically and traffic noise is having negative impact on people’s work and life.Conflicts between promotion of environmental and traffic noise is getting increasingly intense. Traffic noise has becoming an integral part of urban environment pollution, which arises people’s lot of attention.This paper describes the characteristics and hazards of traffic noise to show the purpose and significance of the study. As the same time, the development of traffic noise controlling methods from home and abroad is reviewed.Then we introduce the concept of residential acoustic environment and lists the evolution amounts、standards and limits of city noise in some countries and analysis the status quo of city noise and impacts on people’s daily life. The contractions between the relevant standards and actual road traffic noise reflect the urgency of the research.The residential development and the evolution of the residential size and scale are introduced. The24h equivalent sound level was conducted on the three residential districts along the street locating in different levels of roads (including urban viaduct, traffic artery and urban secondary roads) in Hefei. Based on the result of field survey and measurement, through analyzing and comparing the results between the field survey and the predicted results using the noise predict software, we evaluate the noise environment of the three residential districts. By discussion the relationship of traffic volume and traffic noise and analysis the Noise spectrum, we figure out the road traffic noise characteristics. Through the questionnaire and analysis the survey results with SD method, we describe residents’feelings on noise current situation.Then we discusse the characteristics of traffic noise and reasons which cause traffic noise. Based on common-adopted road traffic noise controlling measures, architectural design and planning to sound barriers, we put forward proposals which are suitable for controlling residential noise in Hefei.
