The gun barrel synchronous precision is an important index that effect artillery firing accuracy and the gun barrel synchronous precision error is an important parameter of modern artillery that must record in factory examination and daily maintenance. With development of the modern science and military technology, the traditional measuring method of gun barrel synchronization precision error has already can’t meet the requirements of practical application, research and deve lopment a kind of error measuring system that has high precision and automation is becoming more and more necessary.Based on real-time imaging, automatic control, image acquisition and image processing technique, this paper proposes a new barrel synchronization precision error measuring method and realize the aim of the gun barrel position real-time given, the real-time image acquisition, processing and the real-time measuring of barrel synchronization error precision, reached the measurement precision of error angular resolution is under one thousandth mil. Experiment show that the system has the advantages of easy to operate, good real-time. high automation, measurement results are accurate and has low mistakes rate, greatly reducing the measurement period, lower the cost of the measurement, and improve the equipment utilization rate. The system can be widely used in evaluation the comprehensive performance of artillery, analysis of the measuring precision artillery fire and other weapons firing accuracy, etc.
