| Earthquakes have always been disasters to the human being with great loss oflives and personal injuries which destructive influence the disaster-affected area.Nevertheless, the increasingly urban size lead to the over dependence of the life linesystem such as water and power supply, transportation and communication systemwhile the occurence of earthquake may cause the afunction of the city life line system.The urban transportation system not only plays a vital important role of cityfunction in daily life but in earthquake rescue work. The integrity and reliability ofthe transportation system should be addressed to ensure its function in carrying outthe emergency rescue work to minimize the disaster loss. Due to the profoundinfluence of urban transportation system,the need to enhance our knowledge of it hasgreatly risen. A better comprehension of this issue is quite necessary.Most of the previous investigations have been performed on individualstructures such as roads and bridges. However, less attention has been given to theentire transportation system. This paper, based on the privious work have been doneby other researchers, mainly focuse on the arterial road which constitute theemergency road network rather than the the minor road. Therefore, instead of lookingat the whole fiield at once, limit the attention to just the net work which of vitalimportance in the finite region. Then conduct the following seismic reliabilityresearch basic on the newly built emergency road network which will be helpful indealing with the post-disaster rescue work.Firstly, build the city emergency road network with the selected node and roadaccording certain rules, which will provide a guide for the the quick built of theemergency road network. Secondly, begin with the individual structure reliabilitystudy combining the reliability anasysis theory of cascade system and parallel system in the analysis point of OD. Apply the evaluation target classification approach thesystem is classified to emergency rescue transportation network reliability,reliefsupplies transportation network reliability and medical aid transportation networkreliability.Consider an example which will help to reinforce the understanding of thetheory,in this paper,the demonstration of theoretical approach is combined with anexample of the real situation of Shinan district of Qingdao. After the quantifyanalysis of seismic reliability in this district, give the influencing factors, weak linksand corresponding control scheme. The purpose of the above work is to enhance theseismic reliability and improve the performance of emergency road network in therescue work.This approach commence with a study of emergency road network so that theimportance of it can be set in proper perspective. Based on the model of emergencyroad network in which the selection of node and road is the keypoint. In order toprovide supplementary information in city disaster prevention and reductiontoguarantee transportation function in emergency time, especially the seismicreliability of the emergency road network. Meanwhile, the study of this project have aprofound meaning and prospect in the programming of city transportation system. |
