At present, coal is the main fuel to power plant boiler in our country, and theconsumption is the first among the national industry coal consumption every year.The combustion products of coal are carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, which pollutethe environment seriously. Based on the present energy utilization of boiler, with themain line of energy conservation and emission reduction, the paper’s purpose is toincrease efficiency of both boiler and fuel. In order to realize the boiler’s energysaving transformation, and properties of different forms of fuel are studied, with themonitoring energy saving means.There are three parts in the paper. Firstly is the gas fuel--methane’s storage.Methane is stored with organic solvent and coal respectively, and fired with them atthe same time. Secondly, Coupling relationships among coal elements are obtainedand the linear superposition of mixed coal according to the quality analysis of coal.Lastly, the potential energy saving in the unit is put forward, with the data thatmonitoring energy saving provides.In the first part of paper, the solubility of methane in organic solvents has beenresearched and the solution law of methane has been mastered. MATLAB software isused to plot curves, which describe relationship of pressure and solubility aboutmethane in the solvent. It is concluded that the smaller partial pressure (P) of methaneis in propane and butane. Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is a low carbon hydrocarbonmixture. It is shown that LPG can be used as the solvent feasibility. Coal is used asabsorbent to avoid the renewal of absorbent and occupied space. The modifiedmethod of the coal and the isothermal adsorption experiment of methane areresearched. Using numerical calculation to contrast the changes between before andafter adsorption test, that are the change of heat productivity with same coal and thealteration of the mission of Carbon dioxide at same heat productivity, and so on.In the second part of paper, for solid phase and liquid state fuel. In the analysis ofthe coal’s ingredients and at the same time, by means of the regression analysismethod, the coupling relationships of heat respectively with the ash content, volatilizepoints, total sulfur are obtained, and experimental results verify that the calorific valueof mixed coal can be linear superposition, and MATLAB is used to map the curve oferror between the measured value and theoretical value; Through the exploration andexperiment, biomass fuel is in the test and at the same time, a set of coal chemicalexamination methods of biomass fuel are summarized, which is different from coal’s,and which provides a basis for future test.In the third part, combining with the test experience, monitoring methods and every cautions are summarized; VB is used to write a visual interface, and realized thefunction of invoke of corresponding entries between VB interface and EXCEL forms,which simplifies the process of data dealing with; Analysis the factors which affectthe boiler’s efficiency, and find the most important factor and finally puts forward theadvice that is about the energy saving renovation of boiler.This paper introduces the biomass fuel and other clean fuel to boiler, and aims toreduce the consumption of coal and down the pollution degree of environment.Methane is mixed with other primary fossil energy to achieve the purpose of amixture of energy burning. Then, the fuel compositions’ coupling relationship andvarious influence factors of the boiler efficiency, which provides a basis for powerstation boiler energy saving transformation.
