With the development of China’s economy and the acceleration of urbanization process, the ownership of motor vehicles increased year by year, which results a series of dynamictraffic problems. But it does not ease the pressure of dynamic traffic by increasing roadinfrastructure construction. Experts and scholars have a study of the static traffic in greaterdepth so as to provide ideas for a better solution to solve the traffic problem. The modern city parking guidance system is known as an important part of the statictraffic management, its main function is to improve and ease urban traffic congestion, diverttraffic to divert local traffic. In addition, it can also maintain the patency of the road, reducethe amount of invalid traffic, vehicle exhaust emissions and noise and environmental pollutionproblems. The quality of the information of free parking space is known as an important factorin evaluation of the modern city parking guidance system, is one of the important basis forevaluation of intelligent transportation systems. In this paper, a spare berth short termprediction algorithm based on BP neural network is proposed after analyzing the variation ofparking behavior, parking demand and spare berths, which can improve the quality of theinformation of parking spaces and ease the traffic congestion generated by the dynamic trafficeffectively.Automatic car locator system is an important component of the modern city smart carparking management system, but the research and application of the hunt cars is very small athome and abroad by now. Due to the continuous improvement of quality of life, the hunt caras part of the parking lot of value added service, as been a lot of owners of all ages. In thispaper, a new algorithm based on user stopping behavior and mathematical statistics to find thecar is proposed. Finally, I simulate the automatic car locator system by using the Visual C++6.0and database development techniques.
