With digital transformer substation of renovation and construction, following IEC61850standard digitized substation and its related products will get fast development. Digitizedsubstation measurement device in the transformer substation as intelligent IED, receiving andprocessing merge unit samples value data. As strong intelligent grid constructionadvancement, the design and development of the intelligent instrument put forward higherrequirement.This dissertation based on the research of the IEC61850standard components and coretechnology of digital substation metering device, the network system are studied, according toIEC61850standard of measurement device on the information model and process of busnetwork sample value transmission service mapping analysis; Current and voltage electricparameters such as calculate method of research, and in the Matlab environment is simulatedand the corresponding digital filter out the design and simulation test and verify.The completion of theoretical work was put forward on the basis of using the SOPCtechnology digitized substation measurement device design, the completion of the opticalfiber Ethernet interface circuit design, based on NiosII CPU system design, FIFO design,UART communication interface design, etc. Software design is completed IEC61850-9-2based on the standard of communication software code SMV frame and Ethernet packetssolution package of program diagram; Data processing module for DSP completed the voltage,current calculation, active power, reactive power calculation and active power, reactive powercomputing; System control CPU module part of the driver using IP core way, designcompleted UART communication, LCD display two driver IP core.The experiments showed that the metering device using FPGA design due to theapplication of SOPC technology makes the design flexible, able to meet the needs of real-timeof digital substation metering device.
