Design Of Digital Substation Communication System

Digital substation is the development direction of future substation,which contains a large number of intelligent electronic equipment,electronic transformer and intelligent terminal,and connect these intelligent devices require a reliable,high speed and real-time communication network,which provides guarantee for digital substation to continuously run with safety and reliability,especially after IEC61850 standard issued,which provides the specification to construct a digital substation with unified standard.On the basis of researching the content of IEC61850,the characteristics of digital substation are analyzed,and the communication service model of the IEC61850 standard is mainly researched.In view of the requirement of IEC61850 standard to digital substation communication network,the switched Ethernet is selected as its communication mode for its communication priority and VLAN,which greatly improving the real time and reliability of communication network.The design of communication system for Keerqin 220 kV digital substation is concrete analyzed,including basic network modes of process layer bus and substation bus are given,process layer and substation layer network mode are designed to guarantee communication network reliable with maximize data sharing,and in order to improve the interoperability between the devices,GOOSE message and SV message are analyzed in detail.The advantages and existing problems of design has been showed based on the actual operation,which provides valuable experience carry out the digital substation construction in the future.
