While we are facing to the complicated problems of Architectural and city, form, scale and their inherited bond, as the views the majority, are eventually chosen asthe solution. At this moment, the word, Behavior, is breaking into our vision. Behavior, could be illustrated as the understanding of human lives, actually, is the principlebridge between natural and architectural environment. Thus, the teahouse andresidential space both should confront the problem of the relationship between dailylife behavior and architectural space, which unveils the reason why they could becompared and inspired by each other. The study of behavior factors in architectural was presented at the beginning. Then, through the analyses of Japanese traditional Soanfu Teahouse and JapaneseModern Residential Architecture, respectively, the differences were explained whenboth of them used behavior as the tool of Architectural design. Several possiblerelationships between behavior and Architectural were proposed step by step. Thispaper is expected at the start of author’s individual research on the behavior as oneof the design method in Architectural. In this paper, the relationship between behavior and Architectural aboutJapanese traditional Soanfu Teahouse was studied at first. The brief analyses weregiven to the teahouse space creation, development, and evolution from theperspective of behavior. Then an inspiration of Architectural design was proposedafter understanding the interaction between Behavior and Architectural in thetraditional space.1. Spatial layout wad determined while Architectural was following the behaviorsystem,2. The behavior variables were controlled by coordinate system formed inArchitectural. Then, the relationship between modern residential behavior and residentialarchitectural in the modern residential architectural works of Tsukamoto Yoshiharu(and other members in Aterlier Bow-Wow, Tsukamoto Yoshiharu as a leader) withinthe behavior theory was studied. The behavior design methods were concluded asfollows:1.“rchitectural behavior” was developed through organizational physicalbehavior.2. The spatial design was running based on organizational psychology andbehavior.3. Architectural and behavior system were controlled by each other. In order to better understanding he connections and differences of the reasonand means while dealing with the relationship between behavior and Architecturaland to explore the potential energy of the behavior as the design method in the Architectural space arrangement, the comparison between Architectural andBehavior was conducted in the end of paper.
