With the market competition is pricking up, manufacturing enterprises are confronted with difficult problems, such as shorter product cycles, Market unpredictable. In order to adapt the market demand, manufacturers tend to build flexible production which is used to solve the problem of multi-type and small batch production. But, product variety, similar products, state change quickly and other characteristics result in material feeding difficulties on the production line, especially the assembly line. Material feeding of assembly line is the key to ensure smooth production, and the process is that, according to demand, timely and accurately to deliver material to the workstation. Therefore, finding efficient methods of material feeding for assembly line of adopting pull production with multi-type and small batch has an important significance.This paper aims to study finding a way of material delivery on time and how it works, which could be appropriate for assembly line with the pull production.1. First of all it expounds the background and significance of research topic.2. Exploring the features of an assembly enterprise and its problems, classifying the materials, analyzing the way of delivery for different materials, putting forward a method for cache materials which distribute materials promptly based on Kanban.3. Using a automobile assemble line’s material delivery system as the research object, analyzing the problems in distribution system now, putting forward the optimization method, which including material classification, tractor routing optimization, inventory control by Kanban, analyzing the time window for workstations, building the mathematical model of the vehicle routing problem with time window (VRPTW) on assembly line, dividing workstations for solving VRPTW easily, designing the process of JIT distribution on assembly line based on Kanban.4. Designing Hybrid Quantum Evolutionary Algorithm:on the basis of Quantum Evolutionary Algorithm, choosing the quantum revolving door as quantum gate for evolution operator, adding2-OPT as local optimization algorithm for a better solution, choosing single point quantum cross for a further optimization of population; testing it with some typical examples, the results show that Hybrid Quantum Evolutionary Algorithm could solve VRPTW quickly, calculating the tractor’s routing of distribution with this algorithm in the preceding part of the text.5. Analyzing the process of the tractor’s material delivery with IDEFO and building the simulation model, simulating the assembly line’s production and material delivery before and after optimization with the object-oriented simulation software eM-Plant, which should input the arguments or parameters, such as the layout of assembly line’s workstations, demand of workstations, time window of workstations, stock beside the assembly line, etc. The results show that it could improve the equipment performance, optimize stock beside the assembly line, reduce the cost of material delivery, boost productivity with the optimization. Therefore, cache material’s JIT distribution on assembly line based on Kanban presented in this paper could improve the material delivery of assembly line in manufacturing enterprises effectively.6. Conclusion and prospect. Summarize the main research work of the whole paper and prospect the further research work of vehicle routing problem.
