Risk Analysis And Control Of Hunan Xicheng Construction Company Bidding Phase

Since the reform and opening-up policy has token, with the rapid development of China’s economic all kinds of fields has bloomed. It has also accelerated the pace of project construction. In recent years, with the increasingly fierce competition in the market the risk covered a wide field of the project construction. The project risk management has become the main reason for the success of the project. With the continuous improvement of the project management regulations, engineering construction market has standardized day by day, and more attention has given to project risks research. The risk management has been an important and indispensable part in the modern project management. The bidding phase is the formative stages of construction contract. The consequences of bidding activities will directly affect the behavior of the follow-up work. Therefore, the risk management in the bidding phase has become very important. It helps for the owners to choose the right contractor to achieve the project objectives, and gives them more precise and accurate quotation for the contractor and takes effective measures and planning to risks by effective analyzing and controlling the risk of bidding.In this paper, based on the analysis of project bidding and inviting bidding, analyzes the existing problems and the causes in current way of bidding. By combining the actual situation of West Side Construction Company, represent the significance of risk management, we analyzed the existing risks in bidding phase of the West Side Construction Company in detail. The study established a risk assessment index system basing on the company’s actual situation and risk indicate of bid in both at home and abroad. According to the risk assessment index system, using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) and additive synthesis method the form risk assessment index system and take a specific project of West Side Construction Company for example, then we evaluate the bidding risk of West Side Construction Company. Last we concluded the ideas and strategies of biding risk management in West Side Construction Company.In this paper empirical analysis shows that the index system and evaluation model are feasible and practical. The ideas and strategies of biding risk management will play an important part in biding risk analysis and control in West Side Construction Company.
