The Research On Landscape Analysis And Space Protection Strategy Of Pushi Ancient Town

Since the30years of reform and opening up, the city industry has been developed rapidly, and the rural economy also has made good progress, the peasants’living standard has also improved greatly, but the disadvantages of dual integral highlighted increasingly, such as the widening income gap between urban and rural areas, the rural infrastructure, education, medical conditions, these things have been lag behind. And it also appears the phenomenon of "Double track "that city and town both have a construction idea, technical means, even including the standards. Since the1980s, the rural economic reform gave unprecedented vigor to the rural, also fuelled the urbanization process. However, most of towns at the same time greatly changed the face of the old town area in the process of striving for the economic development, a large number of traditional villages and towns were dismantled for transformation. The problems of population pressure, short of land resources and ecological environment deterioration are also accompanied. In this background, in our country, it is faced with the situation in towns, that fewer land corresponds to more people, homestead constructions spread disorderly, the features of traditional are lost, the poverty of regional characteristic, the old town are hollowing out, it also has the contradictions of poor infrastructure and environment deterioration etc.This study focused on the protection and rational development of the Miao boundary town-pushi ancient town. Protection, that is the town historical heritage protection and the continuation of the historical context; and then, development that is seeking the town’s social, economic and human living environment sustainable development. This paper is divided into three parts. First have to clarify is the related back ground which led to the formation and development of the natural geography, social, historical, economic, national culture etc. The second is the main part, that is, the landscape analysis of the pushi ancient town. This paper is commenced on macroscopic level and microscopic level, macroscopic level includes the geographic pattern of fengshui, town flat form and spatial structure, as well as their evolution. Microscopic elements are commenced on the structure of the "surface-line-point","surface" elements-space texture,"line" elements-street, boundary, contour line,"point" elements-architecture. The third part suggests the thought, goals and principles of ancient town landscape protection and then it delimits the town to3layers named as core protection areas, construction control area and environmental coordinated area and formulates corresponding measures of protection about each layer from the perspectives of the protection of natural geographical environment, the protection of traditional pattern of streets, the protection and renovation of streets space, the presupposition of corridor line of sight, the control of buildings height and the protection and renovation of buildings.Form the "old four" movement, the traditional styles of pushi ancient town were serious damaged. Later, it grew and developed in the original and traditional street internal. Though the most street spatial scale keeps traditional image, the buildings on both sides of the street has been updated for the modern architecture, which shows the conflict with the traditional styles. And it is the key of the protection and renovation. At the same time, natural scenery, farmlands and woodlands which its historical heritage depends for, as well as intangible cultural heritage of pushi ancient town is not the least protection task.
