Along with the development of social economy and technology, China’s high-rise building have sprung up,and at the same time the engineering technology researchers also have done a lot of corresponding theory research. In a large number of engineering practice, according to contrast the field measured and theory research, people found that whatever complete building system is made by three parts, which are the upper structure, groundwork and foundation. They worked in harmony with each other. With the height of the high-rise buildings have increased, the vertical load and level load are important characteristic of high-rise buildings, so the requirement in the foundation is higher.The form of using foundation must be with the following characters:Enduring high vertical load, adjusting the、 uneven settlement, resistance strong overturning and so on. In all the forms of foundation, the pile raft foundation has these characters.In this paper,take a dwelling in Chengguan District of Lanzhou City as a research example, and establish3D model of the frame shear wall structure—the pile raft foundation—foundation, which work together, with SAP2000finite element analysis software. Do the analysis of the common function to the model according to stiffness of the upper structure and the raft, from which can achieve the following conclusion:(1) Compared with the traditional analysis method, it finds that after finite element analysis for interaction, internal force of the upper structure and load of pile gradually increasing, internal force and subsidence on raft foundation both decrease in different degree, and emergency capacity of foundation settlement and raft internal force is bigger.therefore, in actual engineering design, using interaction design concept is in accordance with the actual stress state of the building, which makes the design more reasonable, but at the same time we should think of the adverse effect of combined action on superstructure.(2) After changing the upper structure stiffness, the research about load of pile, pile load allocation, internal force and subsidence on raft foundation etc. shows that upper structure stiffness is beneficial to reducing the differential settlement of foundation and the contribution is limited, load allocation of the raft cannot be ignored in this example, because if1t can be made full use of, which may reduce cost.(3) Increasing the stiffness of the raft, which finds improvement appears in pile load, allocation and differential settlement of basic decrease, and therefore, choosing appropriate thickness of raft with interaction theory analysis more reasonable in economy.
