Research On Healing Garden Programme And Design

With the progress of society, healing garden as a means of adjunctive therapy has become a new type of landscape in the health institutions. In the developed countries, the researches about healing garden has made a lot progress, but domestic systemic study in this field is still the poor. After the field investigation of the nursing home’s garden of xinjiang military region in lintong district in xi’an, the author analyses and explores the programme and design of healing garden through accessing to a large number of domestic and foreign literature.This thesis has made a research on programme and design of healing garden. In accordance with its relative theories, the history, and social background, the present research summarizes the progress of relevant research at home and abroad, overviews the significant, content and methods of this study and sums up the rehabilitation and convalescent function of healing garden. The thesis focus on the discussion about the specific guiding principles of healing garden’s programme and design especially in the nursing home’s garden of xinjiang military region in lintong district in xi’an and its develop trends in the future as well.
