Study On Urban Complex External Space Design

With the acceleration of urbanization in China and the improvement of living standard of domestic citizens, city complex, regarded as a new pattern of urban space which integrates various unban functions, gradually become a new hotspot in urban construction, meeting the demand of diversification in trade. The urban complex not only enhances the efficiency of land use and solves the problems, caused by urbanization, so-called "urban disease", but also tremendously attracts people’s attention and complies with the present era by spawning a brand new life style for city residents. External landscape environment, Furthermore,an important component of the urban complex, which can affect the quality of the entire complex in space, represents a sense of pleasure in modern life, or rather, reflects the cultural taste of urban complex.The reseches of interaction between human activity and their environment, along with the extraction of indigenous culture and natural landscape, helps External landscape of the urban complex to reshape the material landscape which reflects the city’s character, providing people enough space to live wonderfully. Although in recent years, we have gotten an achievement in construction of practical projects, urban complex in our country is still in the stage of development. In comparison to international standard, urban complex in our country still has many disadvantages, especially in the following respect:Firstly,we do not have a refined understanding of design area based on the external landscape of the urban complex. Secondly, the researches of urban complex in our country tend to be restricted to macroscopic view. Thirdly, the design theories, which professionally regard landscape as its Perspective, are so rare that they can rarely meet the demands of diversified practical projects of the urban complex. Therefore in order to design and construct a complex landscape catering to modern urban complex, we are expecting a guidance of professional theories. Jinan is a time-honored city with profound cultural heritage, creating a condition for the construction of regional complex landscape. Its Urban Planning and orientation also lay the foundation of this research.This research is not only based on some theoretical disciplines such as urban planning, Environmental Psychology and Environmental Aesthetics, but also based on some conceptions such as humane, ecological modernization and regional. By analyzing some successful domestic and international cases of the complex project at home and abroad, as well as combining my own experience in practical project, this research aims to explore a humanized and of unban featured design in about complex landscape. The article is divided into six chapters’content. The first chapter illustrates the background and significance of this study and sort out the status of domestic and international urban complex projects. The second chapter details the related concept of the urban complex development process, and through the analysis of complex projects at home and abroad, summed up the spatial characteristics of the urban complex, namely:Network transport system; building clustered and the flow density; large-scale, the overall style unity; multiple functions; spatial continuity and diversification; modernization of facilities, property management humanity. The third chapter focuses on analysis of the constituent elements of the landscape design of external space in the urban complex, and rely on the theories of the disciplines of urban planning, environmental behavior, landscape aesthetics, Landscape Ecology, analyzed and summarized a few of the construction of China’s urban complex major problems:(1) lack of contact with the urban space (2) lack of landscape and environmental affinity (3) lack of regional and cultural connotations (4) a large area of roof space is idle. And then put forward the general principles of landscape design in the urban complex. In the fourth chapter, through the analysis of six Japanese wood Metro and Xi’an Wanda Plaza, two spots project, to draw its essence of design, humane thinking, the practice of three-dimensional landscape, geographical characteristics of the refining. Chapter V depth analysis of the business characteristics and the status quo in Jinan City, and Shenghe international urban complex design practices, for example, the detailed interpretation of the landscape elements of the external space design. Finally the sixth chapter, the previous theory and practice of text-based, summed up the overall strategy of the landscape design of the external space of the urban complex:(1) To establish the complex landscape and urban macro linkages, and environmental landscape design considerations throughout the planning, so that the joint planning of the building and the environment, to avoid the mutual separation of architecture and landscape, from macro to micro, from the whole to part, from the environment to a small local, and create high quality urban landscape.(2) Make a three-dimensional environment, to achieve the most perfect in a limited range of ecological landscape. The landscape is becoming more and more three-dimensional, multi-level, better use of land, to raise the city’s green biomass.(3) Focus on the participation of the environmental landscape, giving people real access to natural opportunities. Allow people to really get involved, but also as part of the landscape of the entire environment, to make the landscape more dynamic. Through a variety of exhibitions, performances and other activities organized by the outdoor space, and guide people to participate, to interact with the environment, to meet the people experience a variety of lifestyle, the environment more humane, full participation.(4) Combine the cultural characteristics of the urban region into the landscape, forming a high degree of integration of modern and traditional. To the city of the original landscape features designed to protect, to refine the urban history and culture, the use of modern elements to express, that has both the city’s modern, urban traditional memory to make people more sense of belonging.
