Study On Outdoor Activity Space In Children’s Hospital

Children’s Hospital is not a new word in China, we kept on implementing the construction of Children’s hospital since1937, The quality of medical technicians and medical facilities and the therapeutic technics have been improving ever since. However,with the policy of reformation and opening and the rapid grows of social and the quality of people’s life developments, the constrction rate of children’s hospital falls behind, even citizen’s requirements of healthy enhances. The consummation on childrens’s hospital is imperative.One child polecy was widly accepted and popularized since70s, it becomes a self-conscious behavior in nowadays. The health of child is the most precious point in their parents’s mind, and children takes the most crucial role in the family. Chidren is the future not only in the family scale, but also the domestic scale as well. All the children deserves the better treatments and better therapeutic environments.The reserch an investigations of children’s hospital envionment in China steps in a low rate, specifically in the outdoor environments field, scholar began to drew attention to this subject in recent two years. Most papers on this field regard the architecture, indoor decoration of children’s hospital and outdoor environment of adult’s hospital more than outdoor invironment of children’s hospital. Differently, reserches and investigations on ourdoor environment in children’s hospital is highly developed, a number of scholar focus on this subject and numerous paper and thesis have been pressed. hence, the resouces generated by the foreigh scholars was fairly precious and of which has practical meanings to our reserch.This thesis approaches outdoor activity space design of children’s hospital by domestica reserches and cases analysis in many areas, and refers the paper and survey conducted abroad. Contents includes the discussion on children’s psychology and ethology in hospital, the value and importance of outdoor environment in hospital, and the survey report of outdoor environment in Xian children’s hospital, gives the optimization suggestions from children’s perception and feeling. At the last paragraph, considerations and conclusions have been given and proposed. Wish that this article could affords reserchers usefull ideas that merit attention on relate subjects.
