With the development of electronic technology, electronic control technology for power equipment is also advancing rapidly. Electric control ECU (Electric Control Unit) with embedded microcontroller and real-time multitasking operating system gradually developed into the mainstream of power equipment. With the update of the electronic equipment ECU has ranged from the core of the power equipment to a number of areas such as power transmission, monitoring, entertainment, and so on.As high technologies replace rapidly, people are required to improve the safety of power equipment, power, maneuverability, comfort, economy, emissions; So the electronic equipment must premise the safety and stabilize before designing more multi-function and improving performance. ECU as the core part of the power equipmen, it is with high technological content and large profit margins and parts suppliers and manufacturers pay attentions to it. If power equipment wants to get the market, it is bound to raise plus the value of electronic equipment. ECU as the typical representative of the electronic equipment, it will be the focus of study.This thesis focuses on the control system of commonly used power equipment control platform such as:diesel engine ECU control system, CNG and diesel dual-use engine ECU control system, by summarizing and analyzing the input and output signals, control system architecture, communications and data exchange, the power supply to sum up the key technologies for power equipment of universal control platform and design input and output signal conditioning circuit. Study Matlab RTW (Real Time Workshop) toolbox in the simulink environment and build data model, then convert it to code program through automatic code technology, at last compile the code project in integrated development environment to download to the general-purpose processor. With the use of automatic generation of technology, it can shorten the time of the development of power equipment ECU and the development cycle. This paper designed the overall structure of the key technologies for power equipment of universal control platform and common ECU’s input and output unit structure of power equipment, and the hardware schematic. Give the selection of general-purpose ECU processor for power equipment and its peripheral circuit design, and make the practical application on the dual fuel engine. Tests proved that the system can meet the requirements of the actual run, with good versatility and portability, cost savings, and practical reference value.
