Structure Design And Research On Archaize Wooden Ship

Archaize wooden boat does not common in today’s society, mainly used for tourism. But the research for Wooden boat,especially Archaize wooden boat,has its special historical value and practical significance.There are many types of archaize wooden boat. This article selects the model Penglai2that unearthed at Penglai, Shan Dong provine and then be esurrected by the ship history research center of WHUT and some archaeologists. The length of this PengLai2is33.85M,more than20M.Nodays The wooden boat standard we use is Inspection Measures of inland wooden vessel, which provisions that the length of wooden vessel should be short than20M.But wo all kown that in ancient China, there are many wooden vessel which are longger than20M,such as zhenghe’s treasure ship. But now there is no corresopoding standard. The purpose of this paper is to reaserch and vadidate the structure of Archaize wooden boats by finite element method. And then according to the calculation results of Patran,try to put forword the formula of calculating thickness by referencing Inspection Measures of inland wooden vessel,to fill blank standard.First, this paper introduce the recovery design for Archaize wooden boat of PengLai2. According to measurement value of the remaining main body and the class period of the ship, estimate each type value of the ship, and get kown the principal dimensions and the mai parameters of the ship; Second, expounds some of the major characteristics of wood, and get kown the differences between wood and steel. One of the most distinctive is the lumber anisotropy. And then choose the wood by comprehensive consideration; Again, reterence PengLai2,set up the corresponding finite element model, and then establish3type conditiong:static、 hog、sag. And define the initial thickness, Again in three conditions load the corresponding respectively loads and calculate to get the results of the stress and strain; Last, verify the feasibility of structure of the wooden ship and put forword the formula of calculating thickness under34M by referencing Inspection Measures of inland wooden vessel, and then model an another Archaize wooden boat in Patran to validate the formula that mentioned above.
