In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s economy, people have put forward new requirements for the diversity of buildings, and a large number of antique buildings have emerged. In ancient China, wood structure is the main structure, and the shape of wood structure is complex.Modern archaize buildings generally use reinforced concrete structure,in order to pursue the maximum appearance similar effect, archaize buildings also need to use conversion structure. The transfer structure is a complex and irregular reinforced concrete structure, and its design process is more difficult than the common building structure. For the transfer structure,a lot of theoretical and experimental research has been carried out by the predecessors, and the corresponding structural design specifications also have provisions for this complex structure. However, there is no corresponding regulation for the structural design of archaize buildings in the code, and there is no clear explanation for how to design the structure with multiple transfer floors. In order to make up for this deficiency, this paper studies the application of the transformation structure in the archaize building on the basis of previous studies and regulations.First of all,the transfer structure of beam to column type is the main research object.Because it is a complex structure form,it needs to consider the influence on the structure in the process of stress analysis, such as the difference between the transfer path of the structure and the common structure, the difference of the stress distribution in the beam, the possible spatial effect when the force is applied out of the plane and the interaction effect between the transfer structure and the overall structure. On this basis, the method of combining the whole finite element analysis with the local key component finite element analysis is proposed in the design process. The whole structure can be designed according to the frame structure. The finite element analysis results of the whole structure need to control the design process and judge the accuracy of the design results from the aspects of stiffness ratio, displacement ratio, period ratio and so on.The local analysis is mainly aimed at the transfer beam,so it is better to analyze the two structural forms of haunching and non haunching respectively. After that, through the analysis and summary of the design process and results of the ancient building Kuixing Pavilion,it is proved that the structural design method of the ancient building combining the overall analysis and the local analysis is feasible. At the same time, the ANSYS finite element results of the transfer beam show that the deflection of the transfer beam with and without armpit is almost the same, but the stress of the transfer beam with armpit is better than that of the transfer beam without armpit. In addition, the reinforcement method of transfer beam is different from that of ordinary frame beam.Because of the sudden change of shear force at the supporting column, the stirrup should be full-length densified.Based on the large vertical deformation amplitude under the earthquake action, the load-bearing reinforcement above and below the beam is easy to be arranged in full length, and the concrete strength grade should be increased appropriately.
