The Evaluation Of Potential Of Urban Underground Space Based On Social And Economical Factors

With the development of urbanization, urban ground space resources have becomeincreasingly scarce, a series of "urban space disease" gradually reveals. In order to sloveproblems above, people start to develop underground space. While underground space should notto be developed blindly under the urgent requirement of underground space.It’s required touphold sustainable development objectives so as to get correct and effective result of urbanunderground space resources both for its potential, quality and value. And all situations should betreated differently so as to achieve the goal of rational development and utilization ofunderground space resources.The paper describes the development of underground space in the context of shortage ofground space at first, and summarizes and compares the research situation both China’s andaboard and sums up our shortage of underground space in planning and utilization as well as risescommon problems some main problems during underground space development. Most theimportant reason of the problem is shortage of a good assessment of urban underground space.Then, from the perspective of the socio-economic factors, details of the six factors that affectthe development potential of urban underground space are introduced and the evaluation systemcontains six assessment indicators are set up. Combined the evaluation system, the paper thensimulates an underground space to assess the examples. And get the six factors and resultquantitative which are classified to4categories. Finally the strategy and prospects for thedifferent types are put forward.
