A Research Into The Planning Of Landscape Character In Shanxi Characteristic Towns

"In order to actively promote the characteristics of Chinese small towns, improve the healthy, integrated and sustainable development in small towns, Department of Finance and Department of Building and Constructions have decided to promote the good example of green key small towns." This policy offers a good opportunity for the integrated development of small towns. However, in recent years, with the rapid development of urbanization, the conflict between the constructing in small towns and natural environment has become more and more obvious. What’s more, the aggravation of globalization has made the towns looks the same, the characteristics of each town are in danger. According to above, the author proposed principle and method of Small towns landscape planning, based on the research findings of specialists and scholars at home and abroad. The case study on Guangsheng temple town, by analyzing the status quo of the sceneries in this small town, the author tries to have a good understanding of the planning of the characteristics, then makes the plan and finally offers the reasonable basis for the planning and gives the guidance. There will be6chapters in this paper.Chapter Ⅰ:Introduction. This chapter mainly introduces the background, goal and significance of this research. By analyzing the research in scenery planning in recent years, this chapter will discuss the connotation of the sceneries in the small town and finally draw the conclusion of this research method, research content and the research structure.Chapter Ⅱ. The author will raise the understanding of the concept of landscape planning, analyze the current theories in this field and by borrowing the past experience internally and externally, the author will conclude and raise the planning rule and method of small towns.Chapter Ⅲ. Select three of Shanxi Province is representative of the small towns are analyzed and taking Guangsheng Temple Town, Hongtong as an example to research, the author evaluates and explains the natural and human sceneries, and discusses the potential of it being an example of green key small town and the current existed problems.Chapter Ⅳ. By using the above-mentioned research method, the status quo of Guangsheng Temple Town, and the current existed problem as an orientation, the author will discuss the strategy of the planning of Guangsheng Temple Town sceneries. Chapter Ⅴ. By the principle of’point, line, surface combination’, the author will finalise the planning case of Guangsheng Temple Town sceneries.Chapter Ⅵ:Conclusion. Based on the research, the author will comment and evaluate the whole research, raise the defects of this paper and the future way to improve.
