The Research On Chinese Eco-town Planning

In face of the contradiction between population, resources, environment and the development of economic society, city and industrial development urgently needs transformation and the sustainable development has become people’s common pursuit. Concept of Eco-town adapts to this trend, and the construction of Eco-town has become a common human cry, representing the future direction of urban development. Therefore, the research of Eco-town planning becomes one of the top targets in Eco-town construction.Research focus is structure the method of Eco-town planning to guide practice based on Eco-town planning theory and practice research. In the course of study, I comprehensively use literature analysis method, survey research, case study, comparative analysis, statistical analysis, landscape ecology quantity analysis and so on, which make our study systematically. In general, the article’s structure is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction. Introduce the background and significance of Eco-town planning firstly, then explain the specific methods of study.The second part is the core including three faces. First, the advances in Chinese Eco-town planning part states concept, evaluation index system, theoretical research progress and policy guidance on Eco-town planning, then gives an evaluation on Chinese Eco-town planning; Second, in the part of case analysis, I choose six typical cases to contrast from different contents; Third, on the basis of above, I build Eco-town planning methods from natural system, supporting system, economy system and society system.The third part is practice. Based on the analysis of Lanzhou current status and landscape ecology, give an expert evaluation survey on " Lanzhou New Area General Planning(2011-2030)" and optimize planning according to experts’suggestions. At the same time, I put forward the scheme of Eco-town planning in Lanzhou New Area, including planning orientations, planning objectives, planning measures and so on.
