This research is originated from the excitation equipmente appearance innovation and design project cooperated by China National Electric Apparatus Research Insitute and group of subjects of the School of Design of Guangdong University of Technology and. the GuangZhou Point-shaped design Co., Ltd.The research aims to complete CEI’s excitation equipmente appearance innovation and design based on the differences cultural characteristics and research of the representative of the appearance features of the excitation equipment on the market.Nowadays,the market competition has been extremely intense,the products distinction has been smaller and smaller, the differences and user-friendly design of the produc has become one of the important means of enterprise competition.The current excitation equipmente products are shorter for life cycle,larger for demand, and the existing appearance of the product can not satisfy customer needs.Compared with the internationally renowned brand excitation equipment,omestic products are not only with low added value, but also in low competetion,therefore,to explore a newdesign method to improve the ability of industrial design in the excitation device class cabinet products is for social and business trends requirements.This paper addressed the reality of the problem,from the theoretical studies to design application, the method of modeling design of products of excitation equipmente was described the validity ofthis method was feasibled. First of all,The paper broadly introducte excitation equipment development and status, analysis the current excitation equipmente by shape and unit elements, leads to the process and aesthetics design, also described by using actual design case. In addition, This paper on the research of the humanized design theory,elaborate the excitation equipmentuser-friendly design points from the five aspects of the operation panel, the color, the materials, the environmental factors and the ergonomics of the excitation equipment.For the differences of the corporate culture, an aseries of analyzes and research on method of the corporate culture to deal with the excitation equipmente appearance innovation and design problem of the homogenization. According toindustry property, extract the representative element from colors,shapes, fontsand symbols to the visual and from materials to touch. Summarize the shape characteristics and cell characteristics of high-end, high value-addedproducts from unit characteristic, the handling of the equipmente, surface treatment process, selection of material, color with the application. On the basis of cabinet styling features of theuser image adjectives, establishment the correspondence between thecorporate representation of cultural elements and the appearance of characteristic elements of the excitation equipment.Finally, applied the results of the analysis to the design of the appearance innovative of excitation equipment, achieving the combination of theoretical analysis and practical application.Through the patent application to ensure that the results of the design.
