Quality Management Research Of Ronier Oilfield Development Project

This project is constructed and owned by CNODC, a subsidiary of Petro China, which isoperating and managing nearly100oil&gas projects through more than30countries. Most ofprojects are located in Africa, Middle Asia, Middle East, South East and Asia-Pacific.Ronier Oilfield is located in the southeast of Chad, about300km away from N’Djamena, thecapital of Chad. The maximum production capacity of Phase-1is20,000BOPD （1,000,000ton/year）. The Surface Facilities are consisted of Central Processing Facility （CPF）, FieldProduction Facilities （FPF）, FSFs （Field Surface Facilities） and base camp.Chad is a landlocked country in Central Africa. It is bordered by Libya to the north, Sudan tothe east, the Central African Republic to the south, Niger to the west, and Cameroon andNigeria to the southwest. Due to its distance from the sea and its largely desert climate, thecountry is sometimes referred to as the "Dead Heart of Africa". The harsh natural climate andgeological conditions make it even more difficult for the quality control of the project.The goal of the quality control of the project is100%acceptable. During the construction, thequality control was carried out based on the PMP theory, combined with quality managementexperience acquired domestic oil and gas field surface facilities construction. This thesis isaiming at the comprehensive and systematic research, in the perspective of PMC, of theengineering quality management of the project, including the quality plan, quality assuranceand quality control. In this thesis, the writer conducts quality audit to find out problems, usesPareto Diagram to analyze the main influence factors, and uses Association Chart to clear upthe reasons for confirmation and countermeasures by analysis. The writer then finds thesolutions for each major factors item by item, readjusts the structure of the organization,streamlines the project breakdown structure, and revises quality management program. Thepurpose of the writer is to successfully achieve the project quality goals through the control ofthe project quality management.
