Heritage corridor was emerged following the combination development of the cultural heritage protection and the greenway regional. It originated in the United States. As a fresh emerging field of the world heritage protection work, it appears to be a regional heritage protection strategy method. This paper is proceeded from the basic composition of heritage corridor contains cultural heritage protection, ecological corridor construction and recreational system. It discussed on the constructing classification method of heritage corridor and GIS as technology during analysis means of realization that play the role. This paper quotes from the theoretical results of landscape ecology, ecological planning theory, the sustainable development theory, and so on. The model and method In the course of analysis contain the factor superposition method, the minimum total resistance model, and the mandatory overflow model. This paper discusses the Great Wall heritage corridor construction methods taking the case of Motianling Great Wall Scenic Area Planning, including ecological corridor construction analysis, cultural heritage corridor construction analysis and recreation system construction. This paper analyzes the region important natural factors, including flooding and soil erosion. Vegetation cover, slope, slope, gully density, soil type and other related factors were classified, and is applied to the corresponding method and analysis model, to find out the flood and serious soil erosion area, then it delineate the ecological corridor. Based on the cultural heritage resources evaluating of research area, this paper analyze cultural heritage corridor using the trend analysis method and the minimum resistance model, for delineating protection and control. Finally, the recreation system is built, on the basis of analyzing the ecological corridor and the protection of the cultural heritage. This paper summarizes the advantages of GIS technology in the construction of heritage corridor, including: convenient, accurate and real-time in basic data collection and arrangement; quantitative, objective and scientific in the process of analysis; accurate in the delineation of the scope of protection and construction; and comprehensive, systematic in the process of analysis.
