The Assessing System Of Protection And Reuse On Industrial Architectural Heritages

Recently, for the rapid development of chinese economy, both the urban industrial structure and the land-use structure have been adjusted. As a result, the enterprises of industry have to be moved to the suburbs or the emerging industrial parks, which causes a large number of industrial buildings and resourceshave been abandoned. More seriously, some of them which have the value ofprotection, under the pressure of the cities’development, have been destroyed.We hope we can establish a simple, scientific and rational evaluation system tosolve such questions exposed when we deal with the industrial architectral heritages, thus promote the development and the renovation of the urbans effectively.The object of this theses is the industrial architectral heritages. It is greaturgent to build the evaluation system because it causes many problems when we protect and reuse them and it will provide a scientific theoretical basis andpractical guide for the protection and reuse on industrial architectural heritages.First of all, based on the study of the theory and practise of that both athome and abroad, the author analysed and summarized the successful experience and the inadequacies, and elaborated the definition, the characteristic, the purpose and the principle of evaluation system.Secondly, the writer used The Analytic Hierarchy Process（AHP）to establish the structral model; And then analysed the impact on all aspects of the oldindustrial architectures and the value of utilization to set up the evaluation indicator of every layers, and determined the weight ratio of the evaluation index with a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods; Moreover the authorcombined with a number of feasible schemes, with the scientific assessment andcalculation, in order to determine the optimization projects for practical programmes. Thus the scientific evaluation of protection and reuse on industrial architectural heritages was realized.At last, the writer used the evaluation to analyse the Changsha copper - aluminum factory as an example to determine the best project for it’s protection and renew. Besides, a design concept was brought forward, with the method ofscientific assessment and calculation, to verify the practicability and the maneuverability of the theory reserched by the author. This theses argues that the emphasis of protection and reuse on industrialarchitectural heritages, on the premise of sustainable development, is preparingto assess them, and the decision-making of reuse is the most significant.The assessment which this theses utilizes will be practical in many actual projects.
