Fiber in the application of the asphalt pavement has decades of history. The asphalt pavement incorporating fiber can reduce rut appearance, prevent the cracks of low temperature and reduce the road surface water damage and fatigue crack, to improve road of the asphalt pavement performance of asphalt pavement with and to extend the period has the vital significance. This paper guangxi six appropriate highway to rely on, the six appropriate highway of the raw material, through the laboratory test, in the dense gradation asphalt concrete AC-13C and AC-20C with basalt fiber, to study the way of the asphalt mixture with performance. At the same time of the Hong Kong and Macao highway to other areas in xinyang segment and S238highway on Jia including xuchang kingdom to farmstead section on the investigation project entity and economic evaluation, and the different proportion of basalt fibers was the system the research, finally determined the best fiber contents.This paper mainly through the following several aspects of basalt fiber analysis on the asphalt mixture with properties of road. The physical performance test, a basket with netting on top of raw materials and dynamic shear DSR separation test was analyzed for basalt fiber physical and mechanical performance and basalt fiber rubber paste properties, draw the basalt fiber with good mechanical properties and rubber paste properties; Through the rutting test, retain Marshall test, freeze-thaw splitting test, low temperature bending test and fatigue property of the system that basalt fiber rein-forced asphalt concrete AC-13C and AC-20Care with advantageous way-use performance, and identify the two kind of mixture of their best fiber contents; Using the Ansys finite element analysis of the different fiber contents AC-13C trabecular bending specimens of asphalt mixture, and concludes that the best fiber mixing content is0.4%, and the fiber contents for0.4%of the asphalt mixture test analysis, eventually got the theoretical analysis results and experimental results have very good consistency; Through the investigation and study on the entity engineering, confirmed the basalt fiber in the feasibility of application of the asphalt pavement, at the same time, the asphalt pavement of basalt fiber economics analysis, and prove the basalt fiber applicability, and has a broad prospect of use.
