With the development of global industrialization and the process of urbanization,the cities all over the world are under enormous pressure on the eco-environment. Thecity residents become more and more dissatisfied with the living environment becauseof the bad things that the urban area expansion have brought. Jinan is the capital ofShandong Province, how to make Jinan be a safe and environmentally friendlylandscape city becomes a major task we face now.Urban greenland, which is an important indicator of whether an urbanenvironment is good or bad, plays a very important role in building a healthyecosystem. Urban greenland is the lung of a city and it is an important symbol toreflect the life quality of the city residents. Its construction planning, which hasbecome a research topic plays a important role in improving people’s living standardsand living environment and in Sustainable development of Jinan.Geo-information Tupu is a method that show us the feature’s temporal variationsof surface features and some kind of information processing and display methods. Theuse of Geo-information Tupu can be used to study the temporal variation of the Jinanurban greenland, And we can use the powerful map skills of geographic informationsystem technology to make it more intuitive awareness and understanding of changesin the urban greenland for future urban planning, It can be a scientific basis to the cityplanning.In this study, we use high-resolution remote sensing image as the data source, tosearch greenland data through visual interpretation of extraction, and then after imagepre-processing and geometry correction and re-combination, classification, and thenon the greenland to build greenland transfer map. The paper selected four images ofJinan City in 2000 - 2010, the fastest growing urban greenland development andchanges during this period to conduct research, analyze the spatial and temporalchanges in the characteristics of urban greenland in Jinan, give a reasonableexplanation on the reasons for the changes on the basis of gray system forecastingmethods to predict the development of urban greenland study of Jinan.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part is the basic theory part, it mainly introduces some concepts ofGeo-information Tupu, including the definition, the formation and development and the characteristics of Geo-information Tupu, and the relationship betweenGeo-information Tupu and“Tupu”,“information Tupu”,“Geo Tupu”.The second part described the situation of Jinan, it includes the topography,climate, hydrology, soil of jinan, which are some natural factors and effect the growthenvironment of greenland, This part also introduce some features of Jinan, mainlyabout the distribution of urban greenland and some shortcoming.The third part is about the data sources of remote sensing images. It discussed indetail the advantages of using the remote sensing images, this part gives aintroduction of the preprocessing of the remote sensing images, and also theclassification method of the greenland in Jinan.The fourth part, the distribution maps of 2000,2003,2005,2010 are created basedon visual interpretation of remote sensing images. Re-combination of classification ofthe green data adjacent to two years The transfer map of the green and built-up areasare created by the re-combination of classification of the green data adjacent to twoyears, And we discuss the characteristics and temporal and spatial variation of urbanGreenland of Jinan from different views, so that we can support the city planning.The fifth part, we use gray system prediction to predict the total amount anddistribution pattern of Jinan greenland, by using the four greenland data and thetransfer map. And we give a reasonable explanation and prediction combined with thegreen type of transfer mode and characteristics of the development of Jinan in recentyears, the development of greenland in Jinan .The sixth part,this part makes a summary over the full text, and puts forwardsthe difficulties, and discusses the further research in the future.
