| With the rapid economic growth of our society, urban transport has developed considerably and brought about a variety of urban traffic problems. Congestion causes great inconvenience for urban residents and travelers and hampers the development of urban society seriously. Domestic and foreign experts argue that public transport priority policy is one of the most effective ways to resolve urban traffic problems through research and practice. Due to limited Chinese urban land resource and shortage of construction funds, construction of bus station seriously lags behind the development; the research focuses on the land use from the perspective of the proposed public station construction standards and the related security measures.The paper analyzes the relationship of urban transportation and urban planning, and points out that urban public transport is an important part of urban planning; the priority of public land use cannot work without urban planning; then, the thesis determines the standard size of land (250m2every bus in a proposed integrated bus station and300m2every bus in New Urban city), which reflects the policy of regional differentiation. According to Zigong City Master Planning, the thesis estimates the bus station size and determines the bus layout through scientific approach. Finally, from the perspective of raising funds for construction, the thesis proposes a bus station complex development model and safeguard measures in terms of policies and management systems. |
