In recent years, with the rapid development of the rural economy and rural modernization process to speed up, many building of the vast rural areas were prompted and new rural construction across the country were made that is similar to full swing fiery. However, a serious waste of resources, energy waste,environmental pollution and ecological destruction are still existing in rural areas because the residential construction of the rural areas in our country wide is the independent construction with lacking of professional planning and design. Unreasonable planning and design is bound to the increasing of carbon emissions of the rural residential that is contradictory with going low-carbon economic development path in our country. The current situation of development of rural areas in our country, building new countryside of low-carbon is an important way to solve the various difficulties of the rural areas.In this paper, having the representative rural of the Guanzhong region were selected as the object of study and the natural environment, cultural environment, human settlements environment of this area were carried out a research of comprehensive analysis. The Residential Mode of low-carbon in Guanzhong region is researched deeply on the basis of current research, data analysis and ’low-carbon technologies’. The specific research content of this paper is as follows:(1)A regional environment of Guanzhong region, natural landscape, village form, the local residents’living status were systematic investigation and study and analysis of development problems faced by the rural residential Guanzhong region.(2) The development model and strategy of new rural of low-carbon residence in Guanzhong region were investigated through analysis of current domestic and international research on rural low-carbon and energy-saving homes and absorption of the available elements and technology as well.(3)The substantial development of new rural residence in Guanzhong region were promoted by combining local geographical, cultural characteristics and development demand of times, as well as grasping the architectural style, choosing a reasonable energy, optimizing building function and structure, improving construction materials and the method of the applicable new technology of construction,and so on.In a word, the problems of residents faced by the rural residential Guanzhong region were solved by using of appropriate low-carbon technologies, the low-carbon thinking as guidance, combining with the reality situation of rural areas, as well as establishing in the existing resources of the Guanzhong region, construction technology, materials of localization, and so on.In the specific implementation process, it should be considered from using energy of low-carbon, design of low carbon, construct of low-carbon, operation of low carbon, emission of low carbon, creation of low carbon and using material of low-carbon, and so on. There are as follows:to improve the comprehensive utilization of rural residential low-carbon energy in the Guanzhong area, to improve effectively the energy supply of rural residence and to realize the low power consumption of rural residence the Guanzhong region; the space utilization is approved by the compact layout of the residential flat; the substantial development of rural residence is achieved by the improvement of the material and the usage of low-carbon technology; the degree of indoor thermal comfort of the modern rural residence in Guanzhong region is enhanced by natural ventilation, efficient natural lighting and other designing treatment. The new rural residence with low-cost, low power consumption, low pollution in Guanzhong region is achieved.
