In recent years, the national power grid companies in China to the reform of the power grid vigorously, intelligent power concentration meter reading technology is developing rapidly. This technology integration electricity information, data storage, remote communication and control, and other functions, provide remote automatic meter reading, check a table and user list, electricity charge electricity to print the one-stop management services, to power department and the user has brought great convenience. Meter reading personnel can never leave home, lightly click the mouse can take all the power of the copy user information, and through the computer automatic settlement and print a list of charge of electricity of users. This not only to save power department manpower material resources, but also put an end to many because of man-made errors, reduce the power sector and the disputes between users.This paper proposes a GPRS wireless communication technology based on the smart meter reading system solutions, this scheme the remote data acquisition, wireless communications, and other functions concentration at an organic whole, make the electric meter can work directly with the remote monitor center of communication. Not only convenient and quick, and of good real-time performance, it has higher application prospect. Compared with the traditional electric meter, smart meter the SCM processing speed put forward higher request, and traditional single chip processing speed has failed to meet these requirements, not for modern technology high speed, real-time information interactive processing occasion. Based on DSP and the high speed digital processing chip need more peripheral expansion, system design complex, application development cost relatively high, do not have the practical application value. In this paper the company specializes in the final IDT three-phase measurement IDT90E36add ARM processor chip high-speed and GPRS wireless communication technology of the combination of the scheme, the whole system has the high measuring accuracy, small volume, low power consumption, communication system reliability, has a greater practical application value.The practice shows that the design of the three-phase smart meter measuring precision and function of the requirements to the national grid company for three-phase smart meter of the technical requirements. The whole system design package MCU module, a circuit module of three-phase measurement, wireless communication module of GPRS, the power modules, infrared communication module,485communication module, data storage module is given detailed hardware circuit design process, the circuit principle diagram,software design process and program flow chart. The test results from the measurement analysis to see, the design of the three-phase smart meters, its measurement mutual sent fully meet the requirements of the state grid corporation, system functions stable operation.
