With the development of automatic control and mechatronics, theelectro-hydraulic proportional control technology developed rapidly. Especiallybecause high levels of computer technology and manufacturing industry developed,electro-hydraulic proportional technology and component precision are even morerapid development and improvement, makes applications range of electro-hydraulicproportional technology more broader. Rotary rescue ladder is a new type ofadvanced rescue quipment, improved its control system performance, increasedautomation and simplification of procedures is very important and useful. Especiallyfor complex emergency environment, electro-hydraulic proportional control is greatsignificance and will be a great advantage. Not only can improve aid efficiency,improve accuracy, and can also reduce the operator’s skill requirements. Improvesthe flexibility, practicality and efficiency of the equipment. If not improve theelectro-hydraulic control system and automation level of the life-saving ladder, it willhave a complex sequence control process when in the begin stage of rescue.Operators will have a high skill requirements, and more important is reduce theefficiency of the rescue, if the operator ignore one step of the action process, it willcause dangerous accidents.The paper first study on structure analysis of Rotary rescue ladder, startingfrom design, to analysis the mechanical structure and operation principle of rescueladder step by step, and to introduce the core structure----the rescue ladder chaindrive mechanism in detail. Thus came the application of electro-hydraulicproportional control technology in Rotary rescue ladder, alternative the type ofmotor control in test equipment, not only avoiding the high-voltage electricintroduced of the core parts, but also reducing the weight of the dynamic part, and itis good to achieve the adjustment and control of speed, makes it is easier forEmergency escape ladder to achieve automatic control and performanceimprovement.Then using electro-hydraulic proportional control technology, to improve thedesign of hydraulic control system for Rotary-saving. And use control principles asthe base, to build theory model and do formula derivate of electro-hydraulic control system and components for emergency escape ladder. Composition analysis ofhydraulic stability and dynamic characteristics of components in the system, hasdiscussed the mathematical model of transfer function of the directional proportionalvalve and speed sensor, discussed the transfer function and block diagram of thevalve-controlled motor system. Gradually establishing the mathematical model ofhydraulic control system of the entire Rotary rescue ladder, and then introduced therescue ladder basic parameters of hydraulic systems, using Simulink Toolbox inMATLAB software to perform dynamic simulation and dynamic analysis. Realizationof computer simulation for hydraulic system of Emergency escape ladder, andmakes the running speed precise control of Rotary rescue ladder.This article does the test validation bases on Rotary rescue ladder unitperformance. Including several trials:running speed, rotate speed control andcomfort of use and so on. Finally according to the test analysis, observation andanalysis the advantages and disadwantages of the Rotary rescue ladderperformance, and the practicability of electro-hydraulic proportional control system.
