In recent years, China railway develops rapidly and the speed of train becomes high. But the mode of operation still is mixed by passenger car and freight wagon. Laoding and securing affect not noly the safety of the railway but also the lives and property of passengers. So we should devote more energy on the research of laoding and securing of freight transportaion.Rolled-steel easily traverse, collapse or overturn during transportation. In order to ensure safety of the transport, we must pay attantion on both the programs and the devices of loading and securing. Steel pallets will be the main devices for the using of rolled-steel transpotation. Before using them we should assess their strength through test. FEA is helpful to determine the distribution of the stress. And it is more accurate to arrage the test points according to the results of the FEA than the human experience. Besides, in the light of the FEA, correcting the weakness ahead of the test can reduce the times and financial resources of test, the need of manpower and materials.Basing on the study on simulation analysis and test of strength of rolled-steel pallet transported by railway, firstly the thesis summarizes the development process of the securing devices for rolled-steel, and explans the reasons of the process, and proposes the design principle for steel pallet. Then, taking a steel pallet designed and produced by a company as example, it creats the solid models and makes the simulation analysis about the strength of the steel pallet on different conditions, contrasts the dates of the test and the result of FEA. Finally, in order to make sure the safety, the thesis gives advices for the optimization for steel pallets.
