Finite element method is a modern engineering design in an effective, efficient auxiliary tool. The finite element method is applied to the vehicle structure design, can improve the static, dynamic characteristics of car body and frame, optimization design, shorten the development cycle of new car, saving the costs of research and development, has the vital significance. Car frame is a key part of the whole car, it carries the engine, chassis and body and other components, can be said to frame is a car carrying the spine, its performance has a direct relationship to the vehicle bearing performance and vehicle performance, so the frame finite element analysis on the frame of the vehicle is very important.China’s forest fire fighting industry is relatively backward, although our country now the auto industry has a great development, has been able to produce a variety of special vehicles, but because of the national attention is insufficient and forest fire economic efficiency is not high, at present our country has no professional forest off-road fire truck, not specifically for the forest zone automobile frame. This paper is taking the city of Beijing science and Technology Commission project" Beijing outskirt mountain conditions of forest fire fighting equipment" in the forest off-road fire truck frame as research object. According to the physical frame by finite element analysis software ANSYS12.0to establish the finite element analysis model, the frame of static mechanical analysis, modal analysis, so as to optimize the design of data frame(Frame weight loss of4.4%), finally using the finite element software to optimize the program static analysis is carried out to check the rationality of scheme, for our study provides a theoretical basis for the vehicle frame of forest.
