The frame, as a most important part of carrier car, supports some accessoriessuch as engine, drive line, running gear, body and withstands all kinds of force. In addition, the work condition of carrier car is extremely bad,and stress condition is also complex,it isunable to use simple mathematical method for accurate analysis of the calculation, and thefinite element method can be used to analyses the static and dynamic performance of theframe more accurately, so that the design of frame will go from the experiencedesign into the scientific design stage. With reasonable and suitable simplifications, a fine FEM model of the framewas established by using Hypermesh.Static analysis, include bending, torsion wereimplemented on to the frame for simulation. The results of stress and deformpresented the evidence of the weakness of the frame, proved the rationality of theframe structure. In the free state, calculated the top ten order modal characteristicsof the frame, access to the natural frequency of the frame under the free state.Inthis article, we done model testing on the frame, through compared the two of thenatural frequency values calculated and modal experimental data we fined out thatthe two results were very close to, in order to verify that the frame of finite elementmodel of rationality.Based on the former modal results, to ascertain the change of the componentthickness of the frame to the influence of first class frequencies, the sensitivityanalysis was performed.Based on the sensitivity analysis we can get more rationaldesign parameters in the following optimization analysis. So in the paper theconcept and significance of sensitivity analysis is the main motive. In the followed optimization analysis, the parts which have more influence tothe low-order modal were selected, and the thickness of these parts were set asdesign parameters. In the optimization design, different object functions can bedesigned according to different purpose.Refer to the similar researches,in thispaper one object functions were designed, which was the weight of the frame. The systemic flow was established for the dynamic analysis of the frame, which i“smodal analysis-sensitivity analysis-optimization analysis”.The flow canapply to any other similar research. The item accumulated some experience forsome correlative research. The result provided a valuable consult for the furtheroptimization of the frame....
