In recent years, the great pressure for the expressway construction safety hasbeen brought about by the rapid development of the expressway construction. Inorder to ensure the life safety of construction personnel, to create a harmonious andcomfortable construction environment, and to promote the level of production safetyduring the construction, the effective and efficient scientific security managementshould be established, which can transform safety management from passive intoactive and turn afterwards controls into beforehand control. Hazard sources serve asthe origin of the chain of safety accidents. Expressway construction is a vast andcomplex system within which lies a number of hazard sources. Therefore, theeffective management and the control of hazard sources in the expresswayconstruction stand for a core control over the safety accident.Based on the trigger mechanism of hazard sources and characteristics of theexpressway construction, the definition, classification, and characteristics of hazardsources during the expressway construction have been analyzed. According to theentire construction process of identification, the identification flow of hazard sourceshas been designed, which is a flow applied before construction, during construction,after construction, and after accidents. According to this flow on the expressway, thedynamic hazard source identification list can be mapped out, making theidentification of construction hazard sources more dynamic. Based on the purposeand significance of the evaluation classification, the flow of construction hazardsources evaluation classification has been designed. The influence factors ofevaluation classification have been analyzed, its index system has also beenestablished. The weight of all indexes has been determined by the link-relativemethod, and the multilevel grey evaluation classification model of the expresswayconstruction hazard sources has been built by the grey degree of association analysis.The practicability and rationality of that model has been verified by the practicalcases involved, also, the countermeasure and suggestions on the management of theexpressway construction hazard sources have been put forward.The research of this paper indicates that the hazard source management duringthe expressway construction is a dynamic and complex management system.Therefore, it is necessary to dynamically and completely identify the hazard sources,reasonably evaluate and classify towards it, and effectively control it in differentclassifications, so as to constantly improve the level of safety management ofexpressway construction.
