And it already can’t meet the needs of the development of production. So developing a special optimization design software to pouring current transformer has an important significance. The use of such software can automatically choose the design requirements, and realize the interior and outdoor pouring current transformer automatic design easily and quickly. It can not only increase the market competitive for enterprises, but also to make the contribution to the automation, informationization, intelligent direction.of all kinds of equipment in national power grid construction and renovation.This paper study out the auto design software of pouring current transformer based on the design standards of transformer , the software use vc + + language designed a good human-machine interface,based on the design condition and parameters which user input in advance ,it automatic output the circle number of one and secondary windings and the size of iron core , and also can realize the insulation design. In addition it can realize error analysis and thermal stability checking in the operation process and it greatly reduce the operation complexity in design process of pouring type current transformer, and improve the design accuracy.
