| As the depended of climacteric of power source and the environment pollution,energy conservation and the control of harmful emissions have become the dominantdirection in the development of internal combustion engine technology. In order toincrease the engine’s power and performance, reduce harmful emission, the technologyof VVT has been proposed and this technology is satisfied for most working conditionof the engine.This dissertation investigates it on the basis of a host of reference, and combinesthe real situation of the subject. This text analyzed the process of vary the valve timingof the VVT system, A variable valve timing test system institution was designed basedon the engine of D20VVT, The main job of this text is as follow:First, summarizing the principle and classification of the variable valve timing,and the present of research. The principle and components of the D20VVT system aswell as the process of adjust the valve timing were analyzed in detail. On the base ofthis subject, a variable valve timing test system institution was designed.Second, the oil control valve was controlled by adjusting the different duty ratio,and so the working characteristics of flow accord to the different duty ratio is veryimportant. By the test system, we test out the working characteristics of flow control indifferent hydraulic and temperature. Because of the important of the biggest mouseopen of the valve and the direction valve is similar to the oil control valve, we simulatethe biggest characteristics of flow by MATLAB\SIMULINK. And the result is similar asthe test.Third, by the variable valve timing test system and the changing positionrelationship of crank shaft signal and the camshaft signal, a new method of getting thedynamic response of the phase was obtained. By using the test system, the change ofdynamic response with different speeds, temperatures and pressures were measured,from which we can discussed the actual working performance of VVT. According to theVVT is similar to the hydraulic cylinder, we simulate the dynamic response of the VVTat different pressure and temperature, and the maintained character. Proving the result isreliable, and analyzing the circumstance of the vane, and provide a reliable basis forfurther research. |
